Here's the list of books i finished off in 2007. It's interesting going back and seeing some of the trends that popped up in my reading habits. While 2006 saw me concentrate on Y: The Last Man as far as graphic novels go, The Walking Dead had my by the balls and never let up. Some of these titles (Zodiac and Hardcore California) i returned to like old friends i hadn't seen in many years, while new authors were introduced to me. Charles Stross especially made a huge mark- i simply fell in love with his combination of modern consipracy/Cthulhu/spy/office space/humor stories.
Of course, this was also the year that the last Harry Potter book was released, and i found myself scrambling to catch up before The Deathly Hallows came out. New books about Firefly/Serenity were released, and i gobbled those up. Not a lot of gaming material this time out, but Pulp Hero was so goddamn big (over 400 pages), that i was reading that thing starting in April at least, and it was the last thing i finished. So that made up for the quantity, i think.
Naturally, the year didn't go by without me reading at least one David Gerrold book. The dude better hurry up and write some new material- the list of old books by him that i don't have grows ever shorter.
